With 13 years on the LPGA Tour, Jenny Shin has experienced her fair share of good and bad in golf. The 31-year-old golfer has a ton of followers on social media and thus shares her daily chronicles from time to time.
The diva has been in the news for her mental health struggles and the effect it had on her career thereafter. However, this time she made an honest confession about one thing she has started to hate.
Jenny Shin fell prey to homesickness

In her decade long career, Shin has traveled to different countries and played in their courses. This time too she is visiting Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Country Club West Course for the Maybank Championship. While playing is not bothersome to the 2 times LPGA winner, it is the hotel rooms which has caused her to lose her precious sleep over.
Shin is currently standing tied at 52 in the Maybank Championship, Kuala Lumpur. Jenny finished her third round with 2-under 69. Later, she shared a tweet with her fans and expressed one thing she was missing immensely.
9,000 miles away from her home, in Malaysia, Shin was missing her bed. She explained that “I’m happy to be playing wherever I’m playing.” She further added, “I’m starting to hate hotel rooms.” Jenny is feeling “homesick” and missing her bed.

She has finished her third round at the Maybank Championship. However, it looks unlikely that Shin will acquire a place in the top 20 after the final round tomorrow.

Jenny Shin’s mental health struggle
Jenny Shin has battled with mental health in the past. She has not shied away and has been vocal about her struggles. Meanwhile, her game has started to look better as she finished 3rd in the Arkansas Championship and 10th in the BMW Ladies Championship in Korea.

While celebrating World Mental Health Day, Shin shared a poem written by herself. With the advice of “go be your best self” Shin encouraged her fans to take things one step at a time without hurrying life. Jenny’s strength and courage are commendable, as she had to work out of the career slump and come back stronger than ever.
