One such rising star who is still part of the Amateur Tournaments with a bright future is Max Kennedy.

Kennedy is earning his senior Irish cap at a prestigious event

The amateur golfer Max Kennedy is rapidly rising to fame in the golfing world. His recent conquests included seven consecutive rankings in the top 10, one of which was a winning rank. On the World Amateur Golf Rankings leaderboard, he made it to no. 93. It is a huge accomplishment given the number of players partaking in amateur golfing tournaments each year.

Now, the Dublin-based golfer is ready to don his senior Irish cap at the European Teams Championship.

As part of the six-member team, he is finally looking forward to winning in Belgium and adding to his already awe-inspiring record in 2023. And he earned it with his formula for success. It’s really nice, to be honest. I’ve always thought consistency will always pay off so just keep doing what I’m doing and let it roll,” he shared. The Twitter account of Irish Golfer Magazine was delighted to tweet about his excitement.

He is also excited about playing with such an incredible team. “We have a great team comradery,” Kennedy added with joy. “I’m delighted to be part of the team, six-man team is the one everyone wants to make every year.” And now, he is confident that he can be part of something big. After all, many golfers have been part of the six-man team and went on to etch their names in golfing history.

Moreover, the Irishman is excited about having the opportunity to bond with several rising stars of the golf world. Going forward, it would prove helpful to have made such deep connections with other golfers, as he has often witnessed in the States.

Max Kennedy’s paramount performance prepared him for this

Having had a spectacular start to the year with many remarkable wins to his name, Max Kennedy is on an upward trajectory. He began with a runner-up position in the South American Amateur Championship. Then, in the United States, he managed to acquire his first win in college golf. Following that, he returned to his homeland in Ireland to earn the title at Ulster Strokeplay played in Clandeboye, situated in Bangor County.

The Irish Amateur golfer couldn’t be happier about it. “Apart from Ecuador at the start of the year, this is the first time I’m actually playing for Ireland as a senior on a team so I’m really looking forward to it,” he said. Earning a title in his homeland meant a lot to the Amateur golfer. Kennedy is also excited about the Arnold Palmer Cup, which will set him on the path to Pro Golf with a massive advantage.
