An athlete’s life isn’t just about fame and money. What many fans and supporters don’t understand is that these sportsmen are made of flesh and bones just like us. They too feel negative emotions like pain and sadness. Recently, fans got a glimpse of this after the father of Bryson DeChambeau passed away.

The golf star, who is very outspoken about his thoughts and shows no emotion when it comes to the hate and abuses thrown at him, recently lost his father. This broke him.
‘The Scientist’ suffered a tragic loss
Bryson who normally wears an armor that lets nothing get to him, lost his father last week to a kidney ailment. The golfer was heartbroken and upset. He paid a tribute to his father by posting a series of pictures of him and his family. He wrote, “Love you Dad. I’m sad to see you go but you’ve been through way too much pain in this life,”
This was clearly a very somber and painful time in the golfer’s life. It was in fact DeChambeau’s father, who introduced him to golf. His father, Jon, was a former pro golfer himself, and the pair no doubt shared some great memories on the course.
DeChambeau, heavy-hearted, also wrote, “I’m so happy you are at peace. Now you get to be with me and watch me at every event I play. Thank you for being an amazing Dad and I’ll see you in the next life.” His fans felt his pain and his sorrow through his words.

It’s been a little over a week since the incident, and rightfully so Bryson is in mourning. He recently posted a story of him working out in the background that was captioned, “Love you Dad. I won’t let you down. You inspired me. Just keep swimming.”
Bryson was unquestionably inspired by his father, and hence DeChambeau thought of him in every game he played. DeChambeau had also once explained the meaning and significance of the Finding Nemo phrase in his life. It was from the time his father was suffering and going through dialysis. “He’d always say ‘just keep swimming, just keep swimming,” said Bryson “No matter how difficult it got, I just kept swimming and kept moving forward.” The Scientist lives by this saying now.
