Sometimes, children follow in their parents’ footsteps, trying to make a career in the same field. This time, it is Ian Poulter’s son, Luke Poulter, who is off to college, all set to make his father proud. Golf fans have seen Luke grow over the years, right since he was a baby in 2004.
Now, as a 17-year-old, Luke has signed up with a golf program. It goes without saying that the European Tour star is a proud father of his second-oldest child. In fact, Poulter proudly shared the news on Twitter as well.

Luke, who is reportedly ranked 133rd on the Rolex American Junior Golf Association rankings, has caddied for his father back in May at the Wells Fargo Championship. Additionally, he made the news for playing with his dislocated knee at the Dye Junior Invitational. “I just wanted to finish the round,” Luke said when asked about his first round.
He also opened with a four-under-par at the Westrock Coffee Junior Championship, finishing sixth.
