But another rough patch of Woods’ personal life includes his relationships and heartbreaks. And one of his most sensational relationships was the one with Lindsey Vonn. But Vonn, when asked about Woods, had nothing but kind words about the golfer.

Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn were in a relationship for more than two years. The two broke up in 2015 in a mutual decision. Woods was in several interviews after the news of his breakup with Vonn went viral. However, Vonn made the news official via Facebook.

“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together…I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.” she wrote on her Facebook profile.

Vonn never stopped supporting Woods, even after their breakup. And even Woods has been very positive when talking about her publicly. However, the two gave similar reasons behind their breakup, and said it was because of their hectic lives.

After parting ways with the Olympic Skier, Woods also said a few kind words about Vonn while giving details about their breakup. “Lindsey and I have mutually decided to stop dating.” Woods’ statement said. “I have great admiration, respect, and love for Lindsey…She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family.”

Both Woods and Vonn are athletes who lead busy lives. The two agreed that it was hard to spend time with each other while in a relationship. So they mutually decided to part ways to give their best in their respective sports.
