However, while the identity of the injury has been known to the public, the nature of the harm has puzzled everyone. Many have debated the matter, but with no information on the table, have come to a standstill. That time is over, though, as Spieth spilled embarrassing facts on the occurrence of the injury.
When did Jordan Spieth injure his wrist?
In spite of his wrist struggles, Spieth has featured regularly in the majority of events. His days with injury began during or after the Wells Fargo Championship, which threw his participation at the PGA Championship in doubt.
However, with an eye for a career grand slam, Spieth put his body on the line to play at the season’s second major championship. In raging conditions at the Oak Hills course, Spieth finished with a five-over-par, which secured him a decent T29 finish.
Regardless, the three-time major championship winner played with a niggle, which he admitted to have had a hindering effect. But the real reason behind the issue was answered ahead of the Charles Schwab Challenge, which left many scratching their heads.

As several of Spieth’s fans know, the golfer has a baby son named Sammy. The baby toddler is a year old and has already made headlines for stealing the show at this year’s Masters Tournament.
As perceived at the Augusta National, Spieth is extremely fond of his son. But his antics with his baby child have reportedly left him with the wrist injury we all know about.
The incident was claimed by Spieth himself: “No, it was after I got home. I was just playing with my son. I wasn’t even holding him or anything. I was just pushing myself off the ground while he was like laughing and going side to side. Something just popped and jammed, and then all of a sudden, I couldn’t move it and got on it right away,” he unbelievably claimed.

While the revelation left everyone spellbound, the real diagnosis was termed as a moderate-grade tendon sheath tear. Spieth claimed that the injury wasn’t at a serious stage at the moment, which has helped him contest further events.
