Joel Dahmen might not have won the FedEx Cup, but he sure knows how to win his wife’s heart. The golfer has been married to travel blogger Lona Dahmen since 2018 and the pair is still going strong even after almost 6 years of marriage. Well, it all comes down to love and respect, right? And Dahmen surely knows how to balance everything while being the perfect husband to his wife!
The Procore Championship in Napa is on and as we all know, Dahmen and his usual caddie Geno Bonnalie are temporarily separated as Bonnalie celebrates his wife’s birthday in Italy. The two gained popularity from the Netflix documentary “Full Swing,” but unfortunately, they will not be seen together on the greens of the Silverado Resort. However, the golfer has his longtime swing instructor Rob Rashell on the bag instead.
Dahmen is ready to take the tournament by storm well and he kind of doesn’t have any other choice. In a recent X post by a Radio Host of This Week in Golf, Chris McKee fans got to see the reason Dahmen can’t miss the tournament at any cost. When asked if he had considered skipping the Procore Championship in Napa, the golfer hilariously said, “I might get divorced if I skip this week, as this is the wife’s major.” It seems like Lona Dahmen is utterly excited about the game at Napa.

According to the golfer, his wife has everything planned out months in advance to ensure that everything goes smoothly. “We’ll bring the in-laws to help out with the kiddo,” said the golfer. The pair has a one-year-old named Riggs William Dahmen who needs to be taken care of when Mom and Dad are away from home. The golfer also revealed that if he had won the FedEx Cup, he would have a chance to skip the tournament, but that’s not the case here. Despite these lighthearted jabs at each other, the pair is doing some amazing work together, which has a very deep meaning behind it.

Through his Instagram page, Dahmen announced the launch of the foundation and said, “Lona and I have been blessed through an amazing game, and we want to give back to the golf and cancer community in a significant way. This foundation will benefit families and communities in ways I couldn’t have dreamed of, and with baby Dahmen around the corner, it’s a legacy that we want to last.”
A year later, the couple shared a joint Instagram post announcing a significant milestone announcing that their foundation had donated $10,000 to the Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children.
