Every golf enthusiast refers to Rose Zhang as the phenom that she is, thanks to her marvelous and highly decorated amateur golfing career. Her debut at the LPGA’s groundbreaking Mizuho Americas Open was one of the most talked-about debuts, and everyone was looking forward to seeing her play. But to everyone’s amazement, she did more than just compete! The 20-year-old won her first LPGA event, and doing so made her only the second woman in LPGA history after Beverly Hanson.

Everyone likes to make such memorable moments more special, and the young golfer is no different. She recently made an appearance on a new podcast, Golf, Mostly, alongside Michelle Wie West. When asked about what she bought after winning, Zhang listed the things she bought. Surprisingly, the biggest and perhaps most stunning one of them almost slipped her mind!
Laughing, Zhang shared with the host and West that the first thing she bought after her win was a special and upgraded version of a bento box, and she followed that with some fro-yo! Soon after, the LPGA star suddenly remembered something else and said, “I made a huge purchase, guys: My Rolex Watch.” She revealed that she got it on the day she won at Liberty National. It certainly seems she utilized her $412,500 well.

After her stellar win the first time in New Jersey, spectators and golf enthusiasts expected just the same the second time as well, when she played in her first ever major championship as a pro. But alas! That was not the case.
