Despite a valiant effort in the last three rounds, Thompson could only manage a T38 finish in the tournament. But the LPGA Tour pro is more focused on her life outside golf, especially her fitness at the moment. Thompson’s peers, Jeeno Thitikul, Ariya Jutanugarn, Lauren Coughlin, and others are currently playing in the T-Mobile Match Play 2025 presented by MGM Rewards. Interestingly, the list also included Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko, but they were eliminated in the group stages. Neither of those might matter to Thompson because she has gone back to working on her fitness goals. At least that is what her latest Instagram post shows.

The beloved golfer posted pictures of her posing in her gym a few minutes ago. The caption read, “Loving the new @pumatraining dress ! So comfy and sporty 👏🏼😎,” as Thompson flaunted her amazing fitness in the pictures. She was stepping on a kettlebell wearing a Puma training outfit to promote the brand she signed for back in 2010. Fans might remember that when Lexi had retired temporarily from the Tour, she hadn’t put a stop to her fitness journey. She even introduced her fitness app for her fans to follow. Hence, it doesn’t come as a surprise for her to see her more ready in the gym than on the greens.
