One such man was, undoubtedly, Joe LaCava, Tiger’s long-time caddie. He has carried the 15-time major champion’s bag from all the way back in 2011 and was a part of his historic 2019 Master’s win.

And now, after almost a year, the Hall of Fame caddie has again joined hands with him at the 2021 PNC Championship. Emotions were at an all-time high as Tiger Woods and Joe both confessed their feelings after being reunited after his solo car crash.

Tiger Woods expresses his happiness at being reunited with Joe

As the PNC Championship hosted by the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club kicked off, Joe and Tiger were brought in for some questioning. The former revealed, “I had a first today. Going to the first tee today, Tiger says to me ‘Let’s have some fun today. So, it’s very hard for both of us.”

He clarifies, “For me, it’s win or bust. You know what I mean? So, to sit there and try to change your mode and say, ‘Okay, let’s have fun today’, it’s tough. I know it’s tough for Tiger and obviously it’s tough for me too.”

However, Tiger very easily, just said, “I missed this dude. I love him dearly. And you know, just being out there with Joe, we’ve never been apart. It’s just one of those things. We picked it up right away.”
