During the podcast, she openly discussed her disapproval of Annika Sörenstam’s decision to play at the Colonial. Pepper believed that Annika should have chosen a golf course where she could compete competitively and have a fair chance to complete four rounds.

She candidly stated, “But I didn’t love it. I wasn’t alone in feeling that she picked a week that was opposite.” Pepper also highlighted the significance of the Corning Classic tournament, which had been a valuable fixture in the LPGA for an extended period.

However, she did acknowledge that Annika made a comeback the following year and managed to secure victory at that time. When the podcast host inquired about her opinion on the current state of golf quality, Pepper expressed her dissatisfaction.
