Paige Spiranac explains why she wasn’t invited to the American Century Championship
Boasting more than three million followers on the popular social media app Instagram, Spiranac has carved out a unique position as golf’s hottest-selling brand. She is loaded up with numerous sponsorship deals under her belt, despite her retirement from the sport in 2016.
Apparently, this wasn’t enough to earn her a spot at the celebrity golf tournament. While Spiranac was looking forward to this year’s event, an invitation never appeared on her doorstep.
Here’s what Spiranac said through her Instagram stories: “Everyone keeps asking if I’ll be in Tahoe for the celeb tournament this year but unfortunately I didn’t get invited back. Was told I didn’t give them enough exposure on social media,” she revealed. “I guess 4 million impressions wasnt good enough lol. Anywas bummed to miss it!”
