Atthaya Thitikul expressed her feelings about the atmosphere and fan support during the tournament in Malaysia, where she is in contention for the title.
She said: “I didn’t expect going to be a lot of fans like this. I mean, like it’s not that big country, and also I don’t know, it’s golf like impact all the people to come out that much.”
The LPGA pro was excited about the fan turnout. She also mentioned that it was her first professional tournament in Malaysia and her second visit to the country.
