All the players wore red on Sunday at the week’s event, the WGC-Workday Championship. This was to pay tribute to how the 15-time major winner always wore red on the final day. The golf legend was more than moved. “It’s hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the TV and saw all the red shirts,” he said that day.

That incident took place exactly two years ago, and its recent memory had the golf world running wild. Golf Digest took to Twitter and posted about the incident, and the golf community didn’t take kindly to it. Why? Well, because the photo included the infamous LIV Golf defector, Patrick Reed. The fans lashed out, questioning why Reed was in the photo.

Other fans also expressed how exciting it was to relive the memory. They claimed that the Tour players had indeed shown their respect in the best way possible.

Fans also went on to find their favorite golfers in the crowd. From Justin Thomas to Max Homa, they found them all. And one fan even hilariously pointed out how JT’s shirt wasn’t exactly red. Well, it’s definitely the thought that counts!
