The Palos Verdes Golf Club is now 100 years old and has served as the prestigious venue for the LPGA Tour. It was founded in 1924 and crafted by the hands of George C. Thomas and William P. “Billy” Bell. This course is a classic example of Thomas and Bell’s designs of the 1920s with extensive use of natural terrain. With a length of 6,480 yards and the consideration of westerly ocean breezes, the course has natural terrain, barrancas, creeks, and hills.
We are excited to announce that Seri Pak is set to return to the LPGA Tour as host of the newly renamed FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship, taking place March 21-24 at Palos Verdes Golf Club.

Small greens, extensive bunkering, and narrow fairways add to the challenge for golfers, ensuring an engaging experience on the course. Following that, the course doesn’t have two consecutive holes in the same par. This 18-hole venue will serve as the primary course for the $2 million tournament. With a field size of 144, the 2024 Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship is making its return to this historical course.
The significance of Seri Pak’s comeback
Pak has won 39 times worldwide, including 25 times on the LPGA Tour, the McDonald’s LPGA Championship (now known as KPMG Women’s PGA Championship) and the U.S. Women’s Open. However, since she retired from the LPGA Tour in 2016, it has gone through significant changes. Therefore, her comeback as a tournament host could potentially benefit the new generation of rising stars.
