Can Collin Morikawa defend his title and honor his Japanese-American heritage at the Zozo Championship?

Have an interesting take?

Morikawa is grouped with Will Zalatoris and Sahith Theegala. You can also check the full tee times of the 2024 Zozo Championship here. Among these three, only Theegala has teed up in the FedEx Cup Fall series this year. The 26-year-old has netted a T7 at the Procore Championship. For Schauffele and Morikawa, the Zozo Championship has a special place. Morikawa’s father is of Japanese-American descent.

Whereas, Schauffele’s mother was born in Chinese Taipei but brought up in Japan. Both have expressed their love for the country and desire to tee up in the event. While Morikawa has won the title once, Schauffele has the chance to add a regular tournament title under his belt this week.
