Will Bryson DeChambeau dominate the 2024 LIV Golf Greenbrier, or will Joaquin Niemann steal the spotlight?

Joaquin Niemann is still leading. Jon Rahm is tailing close. Tyrrell Hatton is also not far behind. Well, with the 2024 season slowly nearing its end, one can’t help but become curious about the status of the whole leaderboard. But not to worry, for there are still a few events left in the Saudi-backed league. Enter the next tournament of the season, the 2024 LIV Golf Greenbrier. With such storylines in place, the fans would surely want to watch the golf in person. However, there are even options for those who are unable to do so.

The 12th contest in the PIF-funded circuit in Greenbrier will tee off at The Old White on August 16. Case in point: as per the official LIV Golf website, the tournament that will span a total of three days starting Friday can be experienced in the U.S.A. through various means, including the LIV Golf Plus app and the CW app, both of which are national broadcasters.

The streaming service has been made available to the followers of the Saudi-backed league from more than 180 global territories. The CW Network, meanwhile, will air the tournament in all its markets exclusively on the channel’s linear and digital platforms. The Friday round, however, will be carried out on the CW app.

That’s not all. There are even more options for fans who prefer regional broadcasters. The tournament will be broadcast through Peachtree TV in Atlanta, WGN9 in Chicago, WHO in Des Moines-Ames, Cozi TV in Detroit, News8 in Hartford, Action News 5+ in Memphis, PHL17 in Philadelphia, 22thePoint in Pittsburgh, KCRA 3 News in Sacramento, KUSI News in San Diego, and KRON 4 in San Francisco.

Regardless of whether the fans tune in through the national broadcasters or the regional ones, one thing is for sure: the Old White will for sure witness a scintillating display of golf this weekend at Greenbrier. There might even be some record-breaking, just like Bryson DeChambeau did back at the 2023 edition of the event.

What’s your perspective on:

Will Bryson DeChambeau dominate the 2024 LIV Golf Greenbrier, or will Joaquin Niemann steal the spotlight?

Have an interesting take?

The ‘Scientist’, back in 2023, was able to cement his place at the top of the scoreboard with a scintillating 12-under par on the final day of the Greenbrier event. His 58 on Sunday helped him card a total of 23-under-187 and clinch the title of champion. Interestingly, the figures he was able to dish out on the final day still remain, to this day, his lowest score ever in the sport, not to mention the lowest in LIV Golf by any golfer.

As he returns to the iconic Old White course, the 30-year-old will hope to claim his third Individual LIV Golf title at the 12th tournament of the season. Although he has yet to win an event on the PIF-funded circuit this season, the athlete is a fan favorite to emerge victorious, especially after his second U.S. Open win this year. But will he be able to do it? Tune in and watch!
