The PGA Tour’s next stop is at the 2024 John Deere Classic. At the 7,257-yard par-71 course, the pros will compete for the $8,000,000 purse. The tournament will feature defending champion Sepp Straka and pros like Jordan Spieth, a two-time winner of this event, and more. Additionally, something is interesting about the tournament. What’s that?

Aside from the fierce competition at the TPC Deere Run, there will be concerts by Counting Crows and Lainey Wilson on the Saturday and Sunday rounds. With all this excitement, enthusiasm for the tournament is high, and tickets for some rounds are already sold out. However, interested fans can still enjoy the tournament live through streaming services from their homes.

While there are no specific reports from the John Deere Classic regarding the streaming of the concert, both the Golf Channel and CBS Sports may stream performances by Counting Crows and Lainey Wilson. In addition to the concerts, the intense competition will also contribute to the overall anticipation of the tournament.

Aaron Rai finished T2 with a total of 17-under par with 20 birdies at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. At one point, he was even leading the tournament. Davis Thompson carded six birdies in the final round of the Rocket Mortgage Classic and almost missed out on the title, finishing at T2. Interestingly, the pro has yet to win any PGA Tour titles. If he maintains his current form, he might secure his first title this week.  Meanwhile, the 2024 RMC Cam Davis recently withdrew from the John Deere Classic with no proper reason. Considering this, it might increase Rai’s and Davis’s chances to claim the title.

Last year, Sepp Straka claimed his second PGA Tour title at the John Deere Classic. As the defending champion, it will be interesting to see how Straka plays at the tournament. Of Jordan Spieth’s total of 13 PGA Tour victories, two of them are John Deere Classic titles. However, he hasn’t won a PGA Tour event since the 2022 RBC Heritage. Do you think he will be able to break his winless streak? It remains to be seen!
