After wrapping up the Senior Major Championship on the Michigan greens, the PGA Tour Champions has now headed to Des Moines for the annual Principal Charity Classic at Wakonda Club. The 12th event on the Senior Tour’s calendar will commence on May 31st and end on June 2nd. This eagerly anticipated event will showcase eight past champions and six members of the World Golf Hall of Fame. These Hall of Famers are: Ernie Els, Retief Goose, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, José María Olazábal, and Vijay Singh.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament features a field of 78 players competing for a $2 million purse, with $300,000 awarded to the winner. If one wants to catch the game’s veterans showcasing their stellar magic on the course, they can do so from the comfort of their homes. Here’s how:
All three days, Golf Channel will be the place for golf enthusiasts to watch the tournament unfold on the Iowan greens. However, the Friday round will not be televised live and will be available for viewers from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. The Saturday round will also be tape-delayed, airing from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET. However, spectators will be able to catch the final round live on Golf Channel from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET.

For die-hard golf fans, there’s also the option of catching the magic of the Principal Charity Classic live and seeing Bernhard Langer, Ernie Els, and other icons in person. Fans can do so by attending the event at the Wakonda Club, which hosts a 72-par course of 6,835 yards.

How to get your hands on tickets for the Principal Charity Classic?
If you have decided that you want to visit the beautiful Iowan greens to see the champions play with your very own eyes, then it’s time to get your hands on tickets quickly. The event’s official site offers a variety of tickets for purchase.
If you are going for a single-day ticket, the cost will be $30. On the other hand, for the entire week, a five-day package is available that grants entry to fans for all rounds (including the pro-am and practice rounds). This package costs $90. Finally, if you want exclusive access to an open-air patio, complimentary beer, and a concession food voucher, you can opt for the trophy club package that costs $160.

Regardless of what ticket you buy, however, there are certain restrictions imposed on anyone entering the grounds. Bring your cellphones, but make sure they’re in silent mode. Additionally, fans are free to take photos and videos for personal use, but live streaming is not allowed. Also keep in mind that the Principal Charity Classic is a cashless event; hence, electronic currency is a must!
