The exciting event on the PGA Tour, the Rocket Mortgage Classic 2024, is set to welcome the golfers and the fans this weekend. The Rocket Mortgage Classic was the first PGA Tour event ever to be hosted in Detroit city limits, and it remains the same to this day. The RMC is returning home yet again. This year, the event is scheduled to start from July 27 to July 30. The top-rated golfers like Cameron Young, Tom Kim, and Rickie Fowler, the defending Rocket Mortgage Classic champion, are some of the entities confirmed to be seen at the venue. Fifteen-year-old Miles Russell is also expected to be seen at the venue on a sponsor’s exemption for his PGA Tour debut, among the professionals.

Where can the fans watch the Rocket Mortgage Classic 2024?

To start with, a total of two channels will be broadcasting the 2024 Rocket Mortgage: CBS and Golf Channel. The first two days of the event, i.e., Thursday and Friday, will be covered by the Golf Channel from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. The third round will be televised between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on the Golf Channel, and from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM. on CBS. The timings for the final round will be the same as Saturday for the Golf Channel, and CBS.

For the fans cheering on their favorites from the UK, Sky Sports is covering the action for all four days. The first three days, i.e., Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the live streaming will start from 5 p.m. onwards. The final day’s streaming starts at 4:30 PM, just half an hour earlier than the previous days.

What will the winner of the Rocket Mortgage Classic 2024 get?
One of the things that is in the spotlight this year is the significant prize purse. The tournament boasts an impressive prize purse of $9.2 million, of which a standard 18%, or $1.65 million, will be awarded to the winner. The runner-up will take home 10%, which is $1,002,800.
Compared with the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic’s prize purse of $8.8 million, there is clearly a significant step up in the 2024 prize money. Additionally, the winner will also get a significant number of FedEx Cup points, which are highly sought after as the 2024 season comes to an end.
