Is the LPGA Tour finally getting the recognition it deserves with events like the CPKC Women's Open?

What is termed the sixth ‘major’ on the women’s circuit returns to Calgary. The 50th edition of the CPKC Women’s Open is scheduled to begin from July 23 to July 28 at the Earl Grey Golf Club. The top players on the LPGA Tour, from defending champion Megan Khang to three-time CPKC Women’s Open winner Lydia Ko and 13-time LPGA Tour winner Brooks Henderson, will all be a part of the 156-player field.

Only the top 78 players after the Friday round will qualify to get one step closer to the trophy. Along with it, the winner takes home $390,000, from a $2.6 million purse. You can enjoy the show live if you have grabbed your tickets. But if it’s already too late for you, don’t worry! You can witness the action from the comfort of your home.
