The 2025 Hero Dubai Desert Classic is guaranteed to be a thrilling contest between the best golfers from Europe. Everyone is excited to see what happens at the Emirates Golf Club this weekend. The event is scheduled from January 16 – 19, 2025.
As stated on the NBC Sports official website, the first and second rounds of the event will be played on January 16 & 17 from 2:30 A.M to 8:30 A.M. (EST). Yes, the entire event will be broadcast live after midnight in the Eastern Time Zone. Round three and four of the Dubai Desert Classic 2025 are scheduled to begin 30 minutes earlier. They will be played from 2:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. (EST).
All the action will receive live, uninterrupted broadcast on the Golf Channel of the NBC network. For the fans who wish to catch the event on the go, they can watch it on the NBC Sports App on their smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

The biggest names on the DP World Tour in the field
There is no doubt that Rory McIlroy will be coming back to defend his 2024 Hero Dubai Desert Classic title this year. However, he will have a tough battle against Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Viktor Hovland, and Tommy Fleetwood. All 4 individuals are capable of overcoming the threat imposed by each other and preventing McIlroy from coming out on top on January 19, 2025. Jon Rahm, who will be making his debut in the event this year, is a crowd favorite to win the title if the world no. 3 pro doesn’t retain it.

Other surprising names on the list are Patrick Reed; who has a lifetime license to play in the DP World Tour events and Rasmus Hojgaard. LIV Golf pro; Reed was a surprise entrant for many, but his exemption allowed him to partake in any event. Additionally, Hojgaard has been on a great run in 2024, despite not winning often. He is expected to impose a great threat at the top of the leaderboard during the four rounds of the event.
