The West Coast swing has wrapped up, and now the PGA Tour heads south for the 2025 Mexico Open at Vidanta. It’s one of just two full-field events before the next Signature Event at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. This week, only four players have already secured a spot for Orlando—Tony Finau, Emiliano Grillo, Mackenzie Hughes, and Patrick Rodgers. But there’s a grand prize on the line in Mexico. The winner will earn a spot in the remaining Signature Events of the season.
With a purse of $8.5 million, the Mexico Open promises plenty of excitement. The winner will take home $1,458,000, while the runner-up isn’t far behind with $930,000. So, you already know that if you have bought tickets for the event, you are in for some thrilling action this weekend. However, if you cannot make it, you can still catch all the action live. That too in the comfort of your house.
This week, NBC and the Golf Channel will team up to cover the Mexico Open. The Golf Channel will have exclusive coverage of the first two rounds and show the early tee times over the weekend. The first two rounds will be streaming from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm ET on Golf Channel, and for the weekend rounds, you will have to do a split shift. Both rounds will be streaming from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm ET on Golf Channel. The rest of the event will be broadcast on NBC from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on both days. And that’s not all.
