The Asian LPGA Tour continues with a trip to the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club. The next Tour event is the second edition of the Maybank Championship in Malaysia. This penultimate event of the Asian leg will begin on October 23, 2024. With the 2024 Maybank Championship, we also start the last 5 tournaments of the year as many pros will be looking to grab the final few points up for grabs.

If that is not enough of a motivation, then the pros will also be competing for the $3.00 million prize money. The 2024 Maybank Championship will feature some of the best golfers in the world, including but not limited to world no. 2 Lilia Vu, the 2024 BMW Ladies Championship winner from a few days ago; Hannah Green, and last year’s winner, Celine Boutier. Here’s how you can catch every stroke of theirs from your home.

How to watch the 2024 Maybank Championship?

The tournament will broadcast on the Golf Channel from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. (Eastern Time). The timings for the event will remain the same for all 4 days, contingent on any interruptions or delays. Alternatively, you can also stream all the live action on the NBC Sports app, golfchannel.com, and nbcsports.com. If the timings are not suitable to your schedule then you can also catch the tape-delayed coverage of every round on the very next day from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on the Golf Channel.

The schedule for the tape-delayed broadcast of the final round is slightly different as it will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The added extra hour will also include the post-event ceremonies and interviews.

As we have already mentioned, the 2024 BMW Ladies Championship winner; Hannah Green, is in the form of her life and will be looking to capitalize on that. Her participation proves to be the biggest threat to last year’s winner and her closest competitor in South Korea, Celine Boutier. The contest between these two will definitely be one to watch for every fan. In the 2023 edition. Celine Boutier and Jeeno Thitikul provided us with a nail-biting game and fans hope to see a similar standard of play this time as well.

As Nelly Korda withdrew from the tournament due to an injury a few days ago, the highest-ranked player in the tournament will be Lilia Vu. Vu will be eager to get her hands on the championship 4 months after her last win at the Meijer LPGA Classic back in June. Some other local favorites who are expected to have a big impact this year are Liyana Durisic, Durriyah Damian, and Ashley Lau. The trio from Malaysia will be looking to take advantage of home soil to bask in glory. We can also expect some great strokes from the likes of Ayaka Furue, Charley Hull, Ruoning Yin, Haeran Ryu, and Jeeno Thitikul.
