What is at stake for the winner at the Buick LPGA Shanghai?

Ever since its inception in 2018, the total purse of the event has remained the same: $2.1 million. Out of this, the winner gets a standard $315,000. It remains the same this year too. The runner-up will be taking home $198,000. However, it is not just the monetary benefit at this no-cut event, the winner will be bagging other advantages too.

The player that comes out victorious on Sunday will get 500 Race to the CME Globe points as the golfers continue battling their season-long adventure to finish in the top 60 and play for the Player of the Year title at the Tour Championship in November. The purse of a whopping $11 million will also be at stake then.
