Golf kicks off at the highly anticipated curtain-raiser of the Asian Tour’s elevated International Series, making its $2 million India debut at the exclusive DLF Golf and Country Club in Gurugram from January 30 to February 2, 2025. John Catlin, the defending champion, who stunned fans with a sudden death against Spain’s David Puig last year, returns to headline the field.
In 2020, Bryson DeChambeau, the “Mad Scientist,” powered his way to a dominant victory at the 120th U.S. Open Championship. With a bold strategy and an impressive 40-pound muscle gain to boost swing power, the two-time LIV Golf winner was the only player to finish under par in the final round at the notoriously tough Winged Foot. DeChambeau’s calculated approach and raw strength proved his classy and thoughtful victory. Fans await his appearance at this year’s exclusive launch alongside the season-ending PIF Saudi International. Let’s dive deeper into the event and where to watch it.

The LIV Golfers will playoff with the 9 winners of the 2024 Asian Tour. BNI Indonesian Masters winner Richard T Lee and MJ Maguire, are a few of these confirmed faces. Rattanon Wannasrichan, the SJM Macao Open champion, will join Steve Lewton in holding the Mandiri Indonesia Open spot. This event is already proving to have a strong start with a winner’s lineup, a much-appreciated mission of Rahul Singh, the Head of The International Series.
“This diverse field, with its blend of superstar names, proven champions, and emerging talent, perfectly showcases what The International Series is all about. This is a truly unique opportunity for golf fans from the subcontinent to enjoy some incredible golf and celebrate the prominent place India currently occupies in world golf,“ he said.
