This tournament holds the distinction of being the third-oldest PGA Tour event and the sixth-oldest overall. In 2002, the Valero Foundation became the official title sponsor, and the tournament has since led the PGA Tour in charitable fundraising. In 2010, the event moved to the Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio.
