The LPGA Tour’s last Fall season event of the Asian Swing, the TOTO Japan Classic, kicks off this week. Co-sanctioned with the JLPGA, the tournament features a diverse field that includes 43 LPGA members and 35 players from the Japanese Tour. The 72-hole event is scheduled to take place from October 31 to November 3 at the Seta Golf Course.
Unlike the other LPGA Tour events, this event will have no cut, and this will be one of the last opportunities for the players to make it to the Race to the CME Globe Tour Championship. While the entire field is star-studded, only three players have made it to the field from the top 10 of the Rolex List, which includes Jin Young Lo, Ayaka Furue, and Haeran Ryu. Additionally, Brooke Henderson is also returning to the TOTO Japan Classic for the first time since 2018, and she will be looking to build off the form she found last week in Malaysia, where she tied for 10th.
