Do you live in the Caribbean Islands? Are you too far away from the Bay Hill Golf Course in Florida? Do you still want to get your fix of golf somehow? Then you can travel to Borinquen for the 2025 Puerto Rico Open. The alternate PGA Tour event will feature every golfer that will not be on the field in the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

The Puerto Rico Open will be concurrently played with the Signature event from March 6-9, 2025. It might feature some famous golfers like Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, and Gary Woodland. The final entry list has not been released, but all three golfers have not received an exemption for the Arnold Palmer Invitational. So there is a very good chance they will visit Puerto Rico to stay in the FedEx Cup points contention. But are tickets to the Grand Reserve Golf Club still available?

The 2025 Puerto Rico Open: Ticket availability and prices

Many people in Puerto Rico love to follow golf. That has led to the government building many beautiful golf courses on the Caribbean Island. One of those courses is the Grand Reserve Golf Club. The venue has hosted many big golfers in the past like Jordan Spieth, John Daly, and Jason Day.

However, the popularity of the sport in the country has led to many of the ticketing options already being sold out. As we can see on the official website of the Puerto Rico Open, the club has 7 amazing packages to offer for their fans. But all of them have been marked “sold out” on the website. But fans still have one option to choose if they want to enter the Grand Reserve Golf Club.

As seen on Ticketera, the event’s ticketing portal, regular admissions to the event are available for all 4 rounds. However, there are no 4-day passes for the grounds pass available. Fans can purchase individual tickets worth $20 from the portal. This is the base price of the ticket. Once you proceed ahead by adding a ticket to your cart, the price goes up to $25.20. The additional $5.20 is categorized under Service Fee, Promoter Fee, and Order Fee. The prices multiply for every ticket you add. This means, the price goes up to $50.40 if you add another regular ticket to your cart. And that’s not even the end of the additional charges.

The ticketing portal states “Additional taxes might apply” under the price table. And when you proceed further with your purchase, they add another $2.91 per ticket under State Tax and Municipal Tax. The State Tax is 10.5% of the ticket price while the Municipal Tax is 1% of the total cost as mentioned on the portal.

Additional tickets and more information

Just like players, the 2025 Puerto Rico Open will also offer exemptions to fans on the course. That is if they fit a certain category. As stated on their website, fans who are 15 or younger get free admission to the Grand Reserve Golf Club. Alternatively, Golf Handicap & Information Network members also don’t have to pay any fees to enter the course. Lastly, military personnel carrying their IDs will also be allowed to enter the course without any charges.

The website doesn’t provide any information about parking fees. So it would be wise to inquire in advance before you drive there. However, at the end of each round, fans will be treated to live music. The show will begin at 6 PM every day/local time.
