The new PGA Tour season is in full swing, and next up is The American Express, scheduled from January 13-19. Now, this one is going to be a whole new experience for the players as they head to the desert for the 66th annual event after enjoying the Hawaiian weather for straight two events. It’ll take place across three Coachella Valley courses—the Pete Dye Stadium Course, the Jack Nicklaus Tournament Course at PGA West, and La Quinta Country Club. The field is stacked with a mix of veterans and rookies, and let’s not forget last year’s winner, Si Woo Kim, is back to defend his title. So excitement will be off the charts.
And then there is the hefty $8.8 million purse with the winner taking home $1.584 million. But hey, it’s not just about the players—there’s plenty for the fans too! The event is bringing two post-round concerts to keep the energy high. On Friday, multi-award-winning country band Little Big Town will take the stage, and then on Saturday, you’ve got Journey, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends. The concert stage will be on the driving range at PGA West. Both concerts will be on the driving range at PGA West, so it’s going to be one big party. If you want to catch all the golf (and the music), make sure to grab those tickets before they’re gone!

Good news, tickets are still up for grabs! If you’re looking to get in on the action, here’s the rundown. Daily grounds tickets, which give you general admission to all three courses, are priced at $70 for Thursday, $114 for Friday or Saturday (this gets you golf and the concerts after on the PGA West driving range), and $85 for Sunday’s final round. If you’re going for the Clubhouse experience, those tickets are $135 for Thursday or Sunday and $165 for Friday, though Saturday’s Clubhouse tickets have already sold out. But no worries, Sunday’s Clubhouse tickets are still available for $135. All ticket prices include the online purchase fee.
You can grab your tickets right from the official tournament website, and if you’re using an American Express card, you get a 20% discount. For those wanting something extra special, you can go for Premium Seating at the Champions Club, located on the 18th hole of the Stadium Course. With these tickets, you’ll enjoy preferred parking, access to a climate-controlled tent, an open-air deck, breakfast and lunch, snacks, and an open bar all day. Premium Club seats are available for $215 on Thursday and $295 on Friday. If you’re hoping for a premium spot on Saturday, though, you’re out of luck—those seats are already booked! That brings us to Sunday when tickets will be $240.
If you’re looking for a top-tier experience, with a little extra budget, Champions Club seating is available at $395 for Thursday, $500 for Friday and Saturday, and $445 for Sunday.

Now that you’ve got your tickets sorted, the next thing you’ll want to think about is parking your car. So where should you park?
What will be the parking status?
If you’re planning to drive, general parking is located in the ‘P’ Lot. You’ll find the entrance to the main tournament parking lot on the southbound side of Jefferson Street, right across from The Hideaway Golf Club, between Avenue 52 and Avenue 54. It’s easy to find, and the daily parking fee is $20.

Once you park, there will be shuttle buses running to take you to the tournament, operating from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. However, on Friday and Saturday, those shuttles will keep running later to accommodate the concerts, so you won’t miss a thing.
And if you’re not planning to make the trip but still want to catch all the action, don’t worry—Golf Channel will broadcast all four rounds from noon to 4 p.m. each day. If you want to catch some early morning action, ESPN+ will start coverage at 9 a.m. each day, so you can stay updated on all the excitement right from the comfort of your home.
