Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TGL inaugural season will start in January 2024. Ahead of the grand opening, the franchised teams are in full swing with preparations and buying out the players from the 24-man roster.

Amidst the excitement of the league, one of the franchise teams, Boston Common Golf, has launched its branding campaign. As part of involving fans in the league, it has introduced one-of-a-kind merchandise that fans can wear to show their support and here’s how it’s priced.

The Boston Common Golf was announced as one of the teams in the high-tech league, TGL. The team is owned by Fenway Sports Group, which also owns the Pittsburgh Penguins, Boston Red Sox, and the Liverpool Football Club. A few days back, the franchise released its new logo and representative colors.

The Boston Common Golf will move forward with green and white as the primary colors, while green represents the green space in the city. The Lily pad and Bullfrog logo symbolize the iconic Boston Common Park and its heritage.

Moreover, following the green and white theme, BCG has launched the merchandise in collaboration with 500 Level. There are two types of t-shirts available on the official website. The main differences are the color (Green and white), logo (Bull frog and lily pad), and materials (Cotton and Premium) of the t-shirts. With sizes ranging from small to 3XL.

A premium t-shirt will cost $29.99 while that made of cotton will cost $34.99. There are options available for men and women. The Crewneck Sweatshirt is the most expensive of all from the collection, which is selling for a $50.99 base price. The bigger size will have increments of $1-4 on sizes 2XL, 3XL, and 4xl. The collection may also release more such merchandise in the future. While the team readies their campaign, the league has introduced newer rules.

 TGL announces Shot clock and Timeout

TGL will be played in a custom-built arena, the SoFi Centre in Palm Beach, Florida. The high-tech league will be played on a simulator and as a new concept introduces Shot Clock and Timeout for the matches. In a shot clock, like basketball, a player will have 40 seconds to hit the ball. If the time is surpassed, the players will be penalized.

Additionally, teams will be granted four timeouts for two different sessions. Two timeouts in the 3 vs 3 sessions for 1-9 holes and two TO for the second singles session. The matches will have a referee and booth officials enforcing the various rules. With only 2 months to the league, are you excited to watch an exceptional game of golf?
