LIV Golf is famous for the heavy amount of money it pays to its players. Many of the golfing talents have defected to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund-backed league because of the lucrative financial incentives it offers to them. One of the defectors to the now-debated rival league was the Austrian golf sensation Bernd Wiesberger.

Wiesberger has won a whopping eight times on the European Tour. He had left the league to be a part of Greg Norman’s LIV Golf in 2022. He spent two years of his professional career playing at the LIV Golf events. He was part of the Cleeks GC Team at LIV Golf and played alongside Martin Kaymer, Richard Bland and Graeme McDowell. However, the LIV Golf feat of Bernd Wiesberger has come to an end, after he finished 41st in the individual standings in its 2023 season.

But many are wondering about the amount of money that came Wiesberger’s way during his time at the infamous league. Bernd stands at the 45th place of the prize money standing at LIV Golf. The famous golfer has played 22 events in his LIV Golf career, which garnered him a sum of $4,685,844 million.

Even though Wiesberger earned close to $5 million in his LIV Golf professional career, he did not finish in the Top 10 in any of the 22 events there. His top finish was at LIV Golf Jeddah, where he was tied at the 11th position in October 2023. Only time will tell how things will end up for the famous Austrian in the upcoming season.
