Padraig Harrington made his debut on the PGA Tour in 2005. Subsequently, the Irish golfer won six times while he stayed there. In 2022, at 51, Harrington moved to the senior circuit on the Tour. The PGA Tour Champions have golfers above the age of 50.

Harrington has won six times here as well, a familiar feat for his decades-long career in the PGA Tour. His latest victory came at the TimberTech Championship in the Old Course. However, what are the five triumphs of the Hall of Famer? Read ahead to know them all!

Padraig Harrington moved to the PGA Tour Champions in 2022. In the past two years, Harrington has clinched six victories, a feat nonetheless for a 52-year-old. The first-ever victory on the senior circuit came at the U.S. Senior Open Championship in Pennsylvania. Harrington defeated Steven Stricker by one stroke and took the title to his win.

2022 was also the year where he grabbed four out of six victories on the Tour. For the second victory of his senior career, we will have to move to Endicott, New York. The three-time major champion scored 16 under over three rounds of 66-67-67. 3 strokes ahead of Thongchai Jaidee and Mike Weir. Harrington was crowned the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open Champion. 

In September 2022, the Irish golfer won his third title in St. Louis. Harrington scored 8 birdies in the last round and ended with 3 under par 68 and beat Y.E. Yang with 2 strokes. The Ascension Charity Classic was the third victory for the six-time PGA Tour winner.

His fourth came when he became the Charles Schwab Champion in his first year on the tour. In the season-ending championship, Harrington scored 14 under 257. In the same event, he shot an eagle on the par-5 first hole of the third round. Harrington won the title and took home $440,000.

Harrington’s two triumphs in the 2023 season

Harrington started 2023 with four trophies to back him up and boost his career. At the start of 2023, Harrington came back to the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open as a defending champion. There was a lot at stake, and Harrington kept his title to himself. For the fifth time, Harrington shot an eagle on the par-4 16th hole and dropped 9 under that round. He won by beating Joe Durant with one stroke.

Harrington won the TimberTech Championship by defeating defending champion Bernhard Langer and Charlie Wi. He made subsequent birdies on the front nine. With the second victory of the 2023 season, the veteran ended the event with 16 under 194. He moved up to 3rd position on the Charles Schwab Champion points table.

The Charles Schwab Cup Championship will be held in Phoenix Country Club of Arizona. The event will start this week, from the 9th to the 12th of November.
