Rahm left a settled PGA Tour career for his family

For the 29-year-old, the duty of being a good father and a caring husband is much more important than his on-course job. In the same Golf Digest interview, given a year before his marriage, Jon Rahm said, “I’m much more interested in raising a family and being a good husband and father than I am in golf.” In fact, spending time with his family was also a deciding factor in switching to LIV Golf.

In a tell-all interview explaining his reasons for joining the PIF-funded side, Rahm said, “I rarely get to spend one one-on-one time with each one and be quality time because usually I’m playing and have to share those hours that I have with them.” Aside from the light schedule of 14 events, the Spaniard revealed that the hefty contract sum will guarantee a safe future for his family. Now, he will have one more member to spend time with and care for.
