Family has always been a priority for Justin Rose. You can tell that easily because Rose still chooses to mention his late father’s name when it comes to his personal life. Ultimately, it was his father, Ken, who made Rose hold his very first plastic club when he was only 11 months old. Ken passed away back in 2002, and now Justin Rose is a father himself! But does he have an equally loving and memorable bond with his children?

Rose married his long-term girlfriend, Kate Phillips, in 2006. She is a former international gymnast. Together, the couple has two children and loves them dearly.

The older son of the Rose family, Leo Rose, was born in February 2009, and he turned 15 this year. Although not many of his photos are made public, Leo Rose does have an Instagram account of his own where he describes himself as an athlete. In 2021, Rose was a student of Jon Hearn, a golf academy.

His coach shared a video of his swing from Albany, Bahamas. Leo has also played school cricket as a bowler, and his mother Kate updated that Leo got 20 wickets in a single week back in 2022. When Leo turned 15, Kate Rose was very happy. She wrote a very loving message on social media for him, “Happy 15th to my beloved firstborn @leokrose! You made me a Mummy and have kept me on my toes every day since! You are the most original, hilarious, spirited, entrepreneurial, generous, dog-loving, fragrance-obsessed teen who surprises with your depth of thought. I can’t wait to see what this next year brings you. I love you always.”

The youngest child of the 2013 US Open winner is Lottie Leo. Lottie was born in 2012. She, too, likes to be on the field and has chosen horseback riding as her passion. Kate often shares her photos on her Instagram handle and writes very heartwarming things. Talking about her younger one’s passion, and resilience, she praised her skills and told her that her calmness and mindfulness in tough situations will help her get forward in her career.

According to Hello Magazine, “The youngster (Leo Lottie) has competed in several competitions, winning an array of brightly coloured rosettes.” Although much is not known about Lottie, she has been spotted time and again with her family at charity events for the Kate & Justin Rose Foundations. It mostly supports underprivileged children somewhere around the Orlando area, at the Roses’ adopted home. 

What does the family like to do together?

Besides going to their charity events, the family is often found together on either the golf course or by the beach. From traveling to Greece for a girl’s week to celebrating birthdays with friends and family, the Roses are very social and connected with their well-wishers.

On Kate Rose’s birthday, she shared a group photo of her family and wrote, “Thank you to this gorgeous family for the most relaxing yet sporty half term; what a treat… SUCH fun had by all and possibly maybe mostly me as I was in charge of nothing! Dreamy.”

The family also likes to spend Christmas together. Yet that is not the only day they celebrate; Kate Rose posted photos of the family on Father’s Day as well as moments from skiing together.
