It’s been 2 years since the Saudi-backed league has found its place in the sporting realm. Surprisingly, it has provided the golf world with a lot of spectacular performances and athletes, of which Bryson DeChambeau holds one of the top spots. And, he was able to do so by joining LIV Golf with a contract worth around $125 million.
However, while the golfer continues to enjoy the benefits of the deal along with dishing out wonderful performances on the alternate tour, curiosity naturally arises about the other aspects of the agreement. Or to put it plainly, how long will the golfer play in the PIF-funded league as per the current terms of his contract?

The athlete joined the roster of Crushers GC during the second event in Portland. And, he did so after signing the lucrative deal that he claimed to be worth more than $125 million. While the 30-year-old did not reveal the exact amount he received, he did divulge the number of years he had signed it for.
In an episode of the podcast, Country Club Adjacent, the 1X major champ mentioned how the deal was penned for a total of four-and-a-half years. However, since more than one and a half years have transpired since June when he played his first LIV Golf event, the athlete can participate in the league for three more years, give or take, as per his contract.
Coming to the other aspects of the deal, he confessed how the amount that was known to the public was “a little low.” Adding on, the golfer said, “I’m not gonna say the details, I mean for what’s reported it’s somewhat close,” while responding to a question in the podcast.

Initially led by Peter Uihlein, the 34-year-old was replaced by the hard-hitter following which the team finally welcomed Paul Casey, Charles Howell III, and Anirban Lahiri. And, since then, the group has won a total of three times on the circuit, including the 2023 Team Championship in Miami.
