The LIV Golf Jeddah presented by ROSHN at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Saudi Arabia is all set to begin on October 13. The LIV Jeddah is not just any other tournament but rather a very crucial event in the league’s golf calendar.

The Stakes and Rewards at LIV Golf Jeddah

The significance of the event shows in the fact that it ends the league’s 2023 regular-season. The event will see half the players secure their LIV Golf League spot for the next season. This puts additional pressure on the players to bring out their best performances to jump up places in the individual rankings. The top 24 players at the end of the event are guaranteed a spot for the next year.
Players from 25-44 will have an uncertain future, while players from 45-48 will be dropped for the next season for sure. LIV Golf Team Championship in Miami’s team seedings will also be determined by the final team standings following the LIV Golf Jeddah event.
The top four teams receive first-round byes, making it crucial for teams to perform well in Jeddah to secure advantageous positions in the Team Championship.
