Every golfer has a support system. For Will Zalatoris, it’s his beautiful wife. Will Zalatoris and Caitlin Sellers’s love story feels like something out of a movie, and it all started back in their college days at Wake Forest University. It was 2018 when they met, and has been together since.

Caitlin is from Dallas, Texas, just like Zalatoris. After wrapping up her undergrad at Wake Forest, she went on to earn a master’s degree from the University of Texas. It’s safe to call her a mixture of brain and beauty. Meanwhile, as Caitlin was navigating her career, the professional golfer was making strides in his golf journey. It’s pretty impressive how he skyrocketed from being ranked 672nd in the world at the start of 2020 to 63rd on today’s date.

April 2021 was a huge month for him—not just on the golf course, but in his personal life. At Masters, he finished T2, which was an incredible achievement that put him on the map. But the big news didn’t stop there; he proposed to Caitlin that same month! A double celebration, indeed!

Reflecting on that moment, Will had a laugh during a podcast interview, sharing, “I kind of had a hilarious conversation with my fiancée about it because she asked me on Thursday night what my plans were if I didn’t make the weekend. I told her, Let’s cross that bridge when we get there.” Caitlin is a funny one! She usually stays away from the public eye and  is believed to be working as an analyst for a company in Texas.

Caitlin might keep a low profile, but she’s always been Zalatoris’s biggest cheerleader. She was right there when he clinched his first Korn Ferry Tour victory in 2020 at the TPC Colorado Championship and even when the 28-year-old was recovering from injuries.

In December 2022, they tied the knot! It was just a few months after Zalatoris celebrated his win at the FedEx St. Jude Championship. The golfer couldn’t help but gush online, saying, “Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. I love you.”
