Everyone knows the feeling of having a shoulder to lie on after having a bad day, and who else understands this better than LIV golfer Jon Rahm? The golfer has been head over heels for his wife Kelley Cahill as soon as he saw her. The pair met while attending Arizona State University. Their friendship converted into romance soon enough, and in 2016, the inevitable happened and they began dating.
Rahm revealed in 2018 that they moved in together after just six months and felt like a married couple already. “For our relationship, we started dating in college. We moved in after six months, and we’ve been living together for two years already,” he said, per US Weekly. Two years later, Rahm proposed to Cahill after designing a custom ring with a crown-shaped setting and a special engraving. “She wanted to pick the diamond, but I knew what I wanted. I designed what’s around the ring. It’s supposed to look like a crown and an engraving inside. I had a big part in it. It wasn’t exactly what she wanted, but she loves it. It’s a little more personal like that,” he said.
They got married in December 2019 in Rahm’s native Spain, and welcomed their first son, Kepa, in April 2021, followed by their second son, Eneko, in August 2022. In March 2024, they announced they were expecting their third child. Rahm and Cahill have been each other’s support and have upheld each other through life’s ups and downs, through it all.

After overcoming numerous struggles, the situation has improved which is a relief for the golfer as it allows him to refocus on his game while being there for his wife. However, the pregnancy complications have left the baby’s due date uncertain, which can be a problem for the golfer. But as always, he has a plan for it. Rahm plans to compete in the LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas, which will commence form September 20-22, and potentially rush back home for the birth. According to the golfer, if the baby doesn’t arrive early, they may induce labor after the tournament. “It could be a case where I go home, deliver the baby, and then fly Tuesday or Wednesday to Madrid, ” he said.
