We all know the games that fate plays in the most astonishing ways when it comes to finding the love of your life, and we think Ally Ewing, a three-time LPGA Tour winner, may have a clue or two about it. The soon-retiring golfer found success on and off the course, thanks to her loving partner, Charlie Ewing. The couple’s journey began at Mississippi State’s practice facility in 2017, where Charlie Ewing was an assistant coach for the men’s golf program.

Ewing recalls meeting the golfer after a month working at Mississippi State. Their chance encounter blossomed into a beautiful relationship, filled with love, support, and a shared passion for golf. In December 2019, Ewing proposed to the golfer, and she said yes!

The golfer posted on Instagram that her husband made December 27th, 2019 an unforgettable day! Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, they tied the knot on May 30, 2020, in an intimate ceremony. “God is good and has blessed us exponentially! Wohoooo we’re engaged!!!!” she wrote on Instagram. After the wedding, the golfer again made a post on Instagram with beautiful pictures and an even more beautiful caption: “We joined together as one! No words can describe how amazing our wedding day was! Even in the middle of a pandemic, it was a perfect day that will be remembered forever.”
