Paige Spiranac has always cited her support for Tiger Woods in the past. Even in Tiger’s worst struggles, Spiranac has been beside the 15-time Major Champion. Today we look back at how the social media influencer came to the defense of Woods against the female professional golfer, Hailey Rae Ostrom who brought back the allegations from 2009 to haunt Tiger during his induction into the Hall of Fame.

Earlier this year, Woods’ daughter Sam had the privilege to induct her 15-time Major champion father into the World Golf Hall of Fame. Spiranac’s podcast co-host at ‘Playing a Round with Paige Renee,’ Amanda Roe praised the golfer for letting his daughter induct him. She also labeled him “the ultimate girl dad”.
However, Roe was intervened by Hailey Rae Ostrom who brought back Tiger’s scandals from 2009. She also compared the golfer to her father and claimed her father set the bar too high. But she was stopped in her tracks as Paige Spiranac arrived on Twitter to stand up for Woods.

Following Ostrom and Roe’s spat on Twitter, Spiranac revealed the comments passed by Ostrom’s father about her. She tweeted, “Her dad said I was a bad role model and put me down for how I built my business. I’ve had them both blocked for things that they have said about me. It’s easy to pass judgment but it shows great character to learn from mistakes. Calling someone you don’t know a bad parent is low.”
It’s easier to play victim. To say me and my dad (?) were mean. But in reality, you and I had a SIMPLE difference of opinion regarding feminism (which is laughable). You blocked me after a private conversation in dms. I never called you a name. Never put you down.

Spiranac called out Hailey Rae Storm for judging Tiger’s parenting skills. Storm then defended her father by stating she and Spiranac had a difference of opinion which resulted in Spirnac blocking her on social media. Storm also disclosed how she insulted Paige Spiranac.
The feud then seems to have gone beyond Tiger Woods and become personal. Paige Spiranac then responded by tweeting, “No victim, don’t deal with fake. Your dad sent me a DM on IG. This has nothing to do with the conversation we had but the comments you have made behind my back. You told Amanda women shouldn’t put other women down but you seem to have a lot to say about me to other people.” After asking to read her father’s direct message at first, Ostrom latetomore in an effort to diffuse the situation and apologise for any confusion.
I would love to see this dm. I know that I sent you a dm because you thought a comment I made on someone’s post was about you. So I sent you a dm to let you know, hey, it wasn’t about you…no hard feelings. Sorry if it came off that way.

In the end, Hailey Rae Ostrom makes one final tweet in an attempt to end the feud. She tweeted, “At the end of the day this is something that happened in 2018/19. I know you were offended by a comment I made, regardless if it were about you or not. I genuinely apologize for offending you. We have the same overall goal in this sport and that is to grow the game.”
With Tiger Woods being the initial reason for igniting the war of words on Twitter between the two social media stars, the spat immediately got personal. Both stars seemed to be having a cooling period at the moment.
