The PGA Tour will be back with the Houston Open, which will be taking place at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. It is one of the only two municipal courses that act as a venue for regular PGA Tour events.
The venue was also used in 2020.
The Memorial Park Golf Course is one of the best municipal courses in the USA and has over sixty thousand visitors every year. It started as a nine-hole course near a hospital at Camp Logan and was meant to be used by convalescent soldiers.

When the hospital closed down, architect John Bredemus redesigned the course. He looks at it as one of the greatest courses he has designed. The Memorial Park Golf Course started in 1936.
Jack Nicklaus, Babe Zaharias, and Arnold Palmer are a few of the popular golfing legends who played on the course. Back in 1951 (to 1963), it was hosting the Houston Open. It was renovated in 1995, where a new 600-acre course was opened with a driving range and a clubhouse.
