As Zhang prepares herself for her professional debut on the LPGA Tour today, she was showered with well wishes from none other than the Spaniard golf star. In the recent video uploaded by Callaway Golf, the PGA Tour star recorded a short clip. He congratulated Zhang on one of the biggest moments of her life, as illustrated by the Instagram handle, “@jonrahm with a congratulatory message for @rosezhang as she turns pro 🌹.”
The 2023 Masters champion went on to list a few of Zhang’s “incredible” achievements, which included her 12 wins and the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. He further added, “I am really impressed“. And coming from such a golf great like Rahm, it will certainly add to the young golfer’s morale this week.
Rahm ended the video with words of encouragement and welcomed the 2020 U.S. Women’s Amateur winner to the “Callaway family,” considering that they were now brand buddies.
