It looks like PGA Tour Pro Joel Dahmen forgot to shout Fore on the golf course during the practice round of the year’s second major. With a wayward tee shot, he hit a spectator in the calf. Luckily for Dahmen, the man turned out to be a huge fan and did not take the minor injury to heart.

Taking to Twitter, the man, Caleb McGuire (as per his Twitter handle), narrated the incident and its aftermath in a heartfelt manner. Giving a shoutout to Dahmen for bruising his leg, Mr. McGuire explained how the golf pro made it up to him. He asked Caleb how much a beer costs at Oak Hill, to which Caleb responded $17. To the golf fan’s delight, the PGA Tour star pulled out a crisp $100 bill and said, “I got your beers today”. On Twitter too, the golfer showed his humility and retweeted Caleb’s post for his mishit, hoping Caleb enjoyed his bubbly apology!

Caleb also posted three pictures in his post. One showed his leg, which turned a bit reddish due to the hit. In another picture, he and Joel were posing for the camera, all smiles. In the third, they were joined by a friend of Caleb.
