Spieth’s performance at the PGA Championship has been quite inconsistent year after year. The 29-year-old has more than once narrowly missed out on victory at the major, but he certainly won’t hope that will be the case this year! Spieth finished second in 2015, just two shots behind Jason Day, the victor. On the 17th hole, he had a chance to win, but he made bogey after hitting his tee ball into the water. The American professional struggled in the PGA Championship in 2016, finishing tied for 13th.

His erratic play, coupled with his recent injury woes, certainly has many in the golf world concerned. But of course, his confidence to play through his injury with his hand wrapped will give his fans hope!
