Hours Ahead of The 2023 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, LPGA Sensation Jin Young Ko Makes an Honest Confession

The golf world is witnessing various tournaments back to back. The KPMG PGA Championship is one such competition wherein stunning players including Jin Young Ko are taking part. Not only are they giving their 100% to their sport, but they are also in the news for the statements that they make.

In a recent pre-tournament press conference, Ko provided some useful information about her upcoming match. She also discussed the difficulties she is currently experiencing in New Jersey’s Baltusrol golf course. With that, the young golfer also gave a glance at her personal favorite female golfer. 

A Glimpse of Jin Young Ko’s Press Conference

With the KPMG PGA Championship starting in hours, golf fans are more than excited to hear from their favorite golf stars. The ten-time winner of the LPGA of Korean Tour has revealed information that provides insight into her match preparation. She claimed that she joined the Baltusrol golf course on Sunday, and that her overall experience has been absolutely great. 

Ko further confessed that she needs to focus more on the golf course because it is a little challenging for her. However, she also shared that she does enjoy playing at this type of golf course since the fairways are not wide.

Moving further, when asked about her favorite female player, she didn’t take anyone’s name. Instead, she praised every competitor as a whole. 

During the Q&A round posted by ASAP Sports, the Moderator questioned her:

“A lot of players, we’ve been asking them, in terms of women’s golf as a whole right now, who do you think the best player in women’s golf is right now?”

In response, the 27-year-old enquired if the moderator was questioning her about the female golfer. After which, she replied,  “Everyone. I can’t say one”

Nelly Korda too opens up about the current best golfer in women’s golf

Previously, Nelly Korda was seen delivering impactful answers during her pre-tournament press conferences. Despite competing against each other, the 24-year-old did not hesitate to take Ko’s name as the best women’s golfer. She also added that the former is currently at the top of the rankings. 

For the unknown, the two top-notched players have been each others competitors for long. Many fans even considered them the biggest rivals, which according to Nelly Korda is only applicable on the field.
