Bryson DeChambeau, the Crushers GC captain, was in excellent form at the Old White Course earlier this month. He carded a record-breaking 58 on the final day. However, he failed to carry forward his Greenbrier rhythm heading into the $25 million LIV Golf Bedminster.
At the Trump National Golf Club, ‘The Scientist’ met with a disappointing finish of tied 18th. Surprisingly, however, it seems like this has not dampened his spirits. Even after his loss, DeChambeau and the Crushers have continued to entertain the fans, even if it is off course with their mid-flight bottle adventures!

The Crushers GC undoubtedly has fun both on and off the golf course. This truth was just hours ago cemented in the fans’ minds when Bryson posted a story on his Instagram that captured many laughs and a magical moment that the golf pro and his colleagues shared off the course. Well, off the ground really considering they were in a plane possibly on their way out from New Jersey!
In the video, the LIV star can be seen wearing a cap backwards along with a salmon pink t-shirt with interesting graphics on it. The t-shirt read “US Open” (undoubtedly an homage to his 2020 win), and the players were spotted in a private chartered airplane.
DeChambeau was handed a bottle of water by his fellow co-player, and soon that bottle became an object of entertainment. He was seen throwing that bottle across the aisle. To everyone’s surprise, the bottle made a perfect landing in the cup holder on the side of the other seat. And as per the video, that hole in one was on his “first try”!

The entire team laughed and cherished the fun moment, as Bryson DeChambeau flaunted how confident he was that he would’ve made the shot by saying, “Told you.” The video shows that the LIV star keeps a fun side on and off the course, and this in a way contributes to his work-life balance, which in turn allows him to touch greatness with his club in his hand and set new records!
DeChambeau is now part of an elite record-holder cohort
The long-distance driver has always had a come back stronger attitude in life. He has bounced back harder from his hip injury in 2022 and has carded amazing rounds on the road to stupendous victories. He tied for 4th place at the PGA Championship in May, followed by a top-20 finish at the US Open. As the year progressed, so did his skill, until he nabbed his recent win just last week.
The Crushers GC captain has spent more than 140 weeks in the world’s top 10 and has seen his fair share of records. However, his latest was perhaps his best when, at the LIV Golf Greenbrier, he carded a final-round 58 to grab the win.

His historic Sunday wasn’t an accident but rather a byproduct of his sweat and years of hard work. And with his record-breaking low score, he joined Jim Furyk as the only other player to have that low a score on a professional Tour.

Undoubtedly, it’s his calm and collected attitude and his brilliantly balanced approach to life that help him perform well on both fronts. What do you think of DeChambeau’s latest achievements, both on the course and mid-air? Let us know in the comments below.
