Annika Sorenstam has been a fan favorite in the golf world ever since she started playing the sport. She has had numerous career milestones, such as winning 72 LPGA events and 10 major championships. Along with being a star on the course, she also created history in 2003 when she became the first woman golfer to compete in a PGA Tour event. She recently completed two decades of being the first female golfer to accomplish that feat. But apart from being a fierce golfer, she also has a beautiful family off the course!

After grabbing the attention of everyone in the golf world for her 20-year-old feat, it is Sorenstam’s beautiful family that has now gotten the attention of golf fans.

The 52-year-old golfer married her fiance, Mike McGee, on January 10th, 2009. Afterward, she became the mother of two beautiful children, Ava Madelyn McGee and William Nicholas McGee. Ava was born on September 1, 2009, and two years later, on March 21, 2011, Nicholas came along.

Her son is seen playing alongside his mother in the PNC Championship, and has acquired somewhat of the status of a star. McGee recently shared a picture on Twitter with the couple’s two children; everyone smiling ear to ear in the picture. Nicholas was seated in the back seat of the car, and McGee and Ava were seated in the front seat.

Savoring the special moment, the golfer’s husband wrote, “Last day of middle school at Lake Nona. “I love you two.” It seems from the caption that the family was celebrating the children’s last day of middle school.
