Even if you are not a fan of golf, you have definitely heard of the golf civil war. From the inception of LIV golf, it became a point of contention between other leagues, especially the PGA Tour. In an ironic turn of events, now both LIV Golf and the PGA Tour will come under one umbrella. It seems like the $3,000,000,000 merger between them changes the scenario.

However, there are a few others who definitely didn’t like the news. Many PGA Tour loyalists were shocked by this because they had opposed the merger. Rory McIlroy has openly stated how much he dislikes LIV Golf. And on this list, famous golf analyst Brandel Chamblee is likewise not hesitant to speak out against LIV Golf. This time, he also gave a solid reply to LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman.

Recently, NUCLR GOLF posted Greg Norman’s bold claim about LIV Golf on Twitter. In it, Norman said many golfers want to join LIV Golf. It seems like Chamblee didn’t let it slide off so easily. He came up with a solid response and tweeted, ”There will always be people willfully deaf to the echoes of their actions. LIV is a force for evil and those that are interested in it pretend it’s for good and for profit but it is a profligate waste of their talent.”

There was no denying that Chamblee’s emotions toward LIV Golf were not resolved by the merger. He feels so strongly about LIV Golf that he predicted a less than ideal outcome for LIV Golfers following the merger.

Chamblee on the future of LIV Golfers

For LIV Golfers, Chamblee had a very gloomy conclusion. Chamblee claims that these golfers were not aware of the ramifications of the contract. Jay Monahan, the commissioner of the PGA Tour, would take charge if the merger took place. And based on the past of LIV Golfers and Tours, these golfers would undoubtedly suffer some repercussions.

According to Chamblee, if the agreement is accepted, LIV players’ fines would increase, and they would only be permitted to compete in the major tournaments. Well, only time will tell how much Chamblee will be correct. But one thing is certain: He won’t soon change his opinions about LIV Golf.
