Hours After Firing ‘Misogynist’ Accusations Against Phil Mickelson, Things Take a Turn For the Worse as Brandel Chamblee’s Ex-Colleague Makes a Bold Statement

Recently, more than anyone else, Phil Mickelson has been in the news for his ongoing feud with golf analyst, Brandel Chamblee. In the developing story, many turns, twists, and trading of words have been witnessed with regard to the story, over the past few weeks

Chamblee has always been anti-LIV Golf and it is no surprise to witness him speak against the golfers associated with it. This includes Phil Mickelson. Unlike others, Mickelson meets the golf analyst head-on regarding any negative remark. Similarly, the recent remark from Chamblee was faced intrepidly by the LIV golfer. Although, this time he wasn’t alone! Someone who knows the commentator joined forces with Phil Mickelson against Chamblee.

Phil Mickelson receives support against Brandel Chamblee’s harsh comments

The Mickelson-Chamblee drama seems far from over. The recent strike from the golf analyst adds another chapter to the heated online argument. Lisa Cornwell, whose name appeared earlier on in this feud, takes the stand beside the veteran golfer. Last time she issued a strong statement against Eamon Lynch which was sympathized by Phil Mickelson on Twitter.

On Friday, a popular golf account named NUCLR GOLF tweeted, “🚨🗣️❌ DEBATE DECLINED — Golf Channel’s Brandel Chamblee says Phil Mickelson refused a one-on-one debate at a neutral location: “..He no doubt knows he’s in the morally indefensible position of speaking & playing for a misogynistic & murderous dictator.” 

This statement led to some serious claims against the six time major champion. However, Mickelson retorted back, “I never turned anything down. We’ve not communicated in years. Probably cuz you blocked me 🤭“

But this was enough for the writer of Troublemaker, Lisa Cornwell. The 47-year-old has worked with Brandel Chamblee as a fellow Golf Channel analyst. As a result, this urged her to give her input into the conversation and speak against the former golfer.

Cornwell laughed at Chamblee for calling ‘ANYONE‘ else misogynistic. She tweeted, “ Hey Brandel – Tell @PhilMickelson that story about the time you were asked to pipe down your sexist rhetoric at a WM Phoenix Open sponsor’s party by one of the hosts. @TomMarsLaw & I are all ears!” Hence, this changed the direction of the finger and it turned the accusation back toward Brandel Chamblee.

Lisa Cornwell shares a strong insight into Brandel Chamblee

Amidst all the chaos and online drama happening between Mickelson and Chamblee, Cornwell’s memoir has shed some light on the latter. In one of the episodes of The Golf Podcast, Corwell and Booth teamed up to deliver some jarring remarks.

It focused on her recent work and its content. In her book, she mostly talks about the workplace struggle because of an unhealthy environment. The way she has tried to fight the system led her to name the book ‘Troublemaker‘. Surprisingly, chapter 13 of the book was dedicated entirely to Chamblee. According to Lisa, the golf analyst assisted in the growth of toxic culture in the workplace.
